- Free guided tour of Observatory from 2pm Thurs. -Tues.
- Night Sky observing sessions run 7 nights a week.
- During SPRING/SUMMER (Sept.1 thru to Feb.28) we open our doors from 1pm Thurs-Tues. and start the Night Sky observing session at 7.30pm.
- During AUTUMN/WINTER (March 1 thru to August 31) we open from 12 noon Thurs-Tues. and start the Night Sky observing session at 7pm.
- Day sessions Thurs.-Tues. in the Star Theatre are 2pm.
- Wednesdays is normally an RDO for maintainance and IT staff, however we take schools and community groups on that day and always do a night session.
- Bus/Coach and School groups can book for any day and time that suits their needs.
- We open 7 days a week during all Queensland School Holidays and most Public holidays. Closed on Good Friday, Xmas Day and New Year's Eve.
